We support large organisations to innovate and transform with sustainability

We work with corporate organisations to help them in their journey of corporate transformation and to establish partnerships with startups in order to provide triple top line solutions that impact lives and the environment. For us at KV, providing sustainability advisory goes beyond measuring metrics (like CO2 offset) but a comprehensive walk through different stages and forms of sustainability innovation that is tailored to the specific needs of our clients.

In collaboration with Rockit, the centre for fintech and sustainable innovation, as part of Rockit Impact Accelerator

As part of Rockit Impact Accelerator, Swedbank Lithuania worked with an Estonian startup CompAct. Swedbank Lithuania pointed out a challenge of finding a tool to be used for internal employee engagement on the topic of sustainability. The tool had to be easy to use, easy to integrate and provide knowledge not only on general business sustainability topics but also on Swedbank's internal sustainability strategy. CompAct excelled in ticking all the boxes. CompAct adapted their solution to work in the Microsoft Teams environment and provided personalised content feature that was non-existent before the pilot. After 2 months of running the pilot, all KPIs were outperformed. As a result, Swedbank Lithuania tested multiple hypothesis on employee engagement, internal communication and sustainability awareness while CompAct team tested a new product extention, a new platform and is currently fundraising to scale the solution.

"The chatbot operates on Teams, which is the platform that we use every day in Swedbank. I’m starting a relationship with this chatbot, to be honest. It's there whenever I need it, asking questions, making me curious and wanting to know more. I love it"

"For us at EIKA, Katalista Ventures has been a long term partner for all things innovation and sustainability. KV team supported us in creating innovation and sustainability strategies, empowering our teams to create impact through various innovation projects, and was always there to help us in making our forward-looking ideas a reality."

The initiative "Smartuoliai" brings together various organizations to support the emotional well-being of children and youth. It encompasses profit-driven entities like EIKA, Civinity, and ACME, alongside NGOs such as "Jaunimo linija," "Vaikų Paramos Centras," "Gelbėkit Vaikus," and "Krizių Įveikimo Centras," in addition to the Kačiukų Fund, government institutions, and the Vilnius municipality. Katalista Ventures, among others, plays a pivotal role in connecting and catalyzing these efforts.

The movement began with a hackathon aimed at including schools from rural areas of Lithuania to tackle prevalent issues and devise solutions. A few teams have made significant progress, such as the teachers' support circles and the Pasvalys school team, by continuing to develop and implement their ideas. We convene quarterly to share ideas and projects, provide mutual support, and allocate funds where they are needed most. Katalista Ventures is instrumental in fostering connections within this group, linking them with various startups and NGOs working in this realm.

The journey with Žalgiris started with a Sports Innovation Hackathon which resulted in two startup investments. This kickstarted their disruptive innovation. We helped them to create innovations strategy in partnership with Euroleague and build their own acceleration program Žalgiris Innovation studio to pilot solutions together with startups. As the next step, Žalgiris has established their own startup venture arm.
